The Partnership for Lebanon Executive Mentorship Program
The Partnership for Lebanon’s Executive Mentorship Program offers an opportunity for accomplished business leaders in the United States to share some of their most valuable resources-their experience, insight, and expertise-with Lebanon’s CEOs.
For a Lebanese executive, this is an opportunity to gain a trusted mentor who will act as a sounding board and provide objective advice, feedback and guidance on various issues. In addition, the Lebanese executive will get exposed to new people, perspectives, ideas, cultures, markets and will gain considerable insight into the global economy. Through enhancing personal and professional skills this exposure to top executive leaders will enable the mentee, through meaningful growth, to create jobs in Lebanon and contribute to the country’s economic revival.
A U.S. executive will get the satisfaction of sharing experience and insight with a promising company. This program also presents a great opportunity for U.S. based companies to get exposure to the Middle East business environment; thus, learn about conducting business in Lebanon and the surrounding region.
We ask mentees and mentors to make a commitment of at least one year. After an introductory meeting to review goals and objectives, both parties should invest in weekly/monthly calls, email exchange, progress review meetings, evaluations, and on site meetings (whenever possible). Some additional recommended activities would be: shadowing and social activities.
It is a small investment, but one with the potential to pay big dividends-for both executives.
A pragmatic Selection Committee formed of experienced elite members from different sectors will be working on screening, interviewing and ultimately establishing a final list of potential mentees.
